The ERDF Business Growth Advisers will act as primary contacts for businesses registered to the programme and 1-2-1 mentors.
Chris Dawson has worked with start-up and early stage businesses for 10 years with organisations such as Newcastle Council, Entrust and SES, providing assistance in all aspects of business and specialising in social media, online marketing and the social enterprise sector. Chris will be the first point of contact for businesses in West Northumberland.
Paul Scott has a background in sales and marketing, having helped businesses identify and execute growth opportunities in a variety of industrial sectors including Automotive, Oil & Gas and Construction. Paul will be the first point of contact for businesses in the North Northumberland area and his expertise is available to all businesses in Northumberland.
Rachel Harrison has a background in business development and talent attraction, having worked with businesses of all sizes in the North East and Yorkshire regions for several years offering business support including designing and managing STE(A)M activity, youth engagement and recruitment. Rachel will be the first point of contact for businesses in the South East Northumberland area and her expertise is available to all businesses in Northumberland.
Lead by the Interim Programme Manager Lois Brentnall, the advisers will supplement the programme’s interactive web portal and diagnostic tool, which will point applicants to online courses, subject specific master classes and specialist seminars.
The project is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Advance Northumebrland Business, meaning all web content, seminars and 1-2-1 advice will be free for eligible businesses to access.
