In doing so, we will support a broader county-wide assets-based approach to promote economic growth and an improved quality of life for its communities. Building on the opportunities emerging from the Combined Authority’s initiatives to enhance its regeneration impact, taking its lead from Northumberland County Council, and working in collaboration with key partners. Our marketing team provides support to the whole business, whether that be updating websites, managing social media posts or supporting arrangements for our annual conference, the team provides a full-remit marketing and communication service. This is a new role within the team, as we work on our ten year business plan and comms strategy.
The Role
As our Graduate Marketing Assistant, you will work with teams across the business, assisting in the preparation of a wide range of marketing materials ensuring that our marketing plans are fulfilled. You will support events across the business from show home launches to business meetings and engagement with local communities. As a small team, it is likely that your marketing skills will be broad ranged, so that you can contribute to the wider marketing team.
Recent projects have included:
- Production of an in-house video to showcase the achievements of the group
- Production of streamlined power point for presentations at our colleague conference
- Updating and managing websites, to ensure accuracy
- Liaison with a variety of teams within the business, to understand their needs for social media and wider marketing activities
- Production of our monthly colleague newsletter
- Analysis of social media
Salary – £24,24.40 – with career pathway and agreed milestones.

Hybrid Working – We offer the capacity to work on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office / on site. Of course, initially you might be in the office more, whilst you get to know your colleagues and our activities in more detail.
