Ascent Homes is the housebuilding brand of Advance Northumberland Developments. The commercial team are critical to this success, managing the contractual and financial management of projects both live and pre-construction.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is key to the success of this team and our future growth plans.

The Role

Senior Quantity Surveyor 

Competitive salary and benefits structure 
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will:

Budgeting & Cost Management: Establish and control build budgets and cash flows for multiple sites, managing development budgets within software like COINS.

Procurement: Identify, negotiate with, and appoint subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring best value.

Commercial Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and report on Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) and project profitability.

Contract Management: Manage contract compliance and contractual relationships with subcontractors.

Leadership: Mentor members of the Commercial Team and supervise the commercial aspects of site operations.
