Energy Central Institute
The Energy Central Campus Institute (ECI) is a flagship higher education, skills and innovation facility, designed to support the growth of the clean energy sector. The Institute will bring together industry, education and research partners to develop the skills and technologies needed for the future.
The Energy Central Campus Institute will provide:
- Higher-level skills and training facilities
- Research and innovation space
- Flexible collaboration areas
- Public realm and landscaped outdoor space
Advance Northumberland is project managing the delivery of the £26 million Energy Central Campus Institute. The development will provide approximately 2,485 sqm of research, innovation and skills space, supporting around 260 learners and 30 clean energy businesses each year. Designed with sustainability at its core, the Institute will help strengthen Energy Central as a leading hub for clean energy, innovation and economic growth.
