New CEO Appointment at Advance Northumberland

Economic regeneration company, Advance Northumberland, has confirmed the appointment of Steven Harrison as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Steven, who was appointed following an extensive recruitment process, supported by Victoria Storer from Hawthorn Blue Recruitment. Steven is scheduled to officially assume his role on March 18, succeeding current Group Executive Director, Robin Earl who announced his desire to move on at the end of last year.

With more than 25 years of experience, a highly respected Board executive and a skilled and successful leader, Steven has significant expertise of operating within development and industrial environments, possessing a high level of strategic, change management, service delivery and operational expertise.

Steven’s background amongst others includes Chief Operating Officer at the Port of Tyne, Group Managing Director at Able UK and Managing Director at Banks Mining. Currently serving as the Managing Director at QE Facilities Ltd, Steven brings a wealth of expertise as a business leader actively involved in the delivery of projects and initiatives.
