New Fitness and Well Being Studio to Open in Bedlington Town Centre

Advance Northumberland has successfully concluded an agreement with Reset Wellness to deliver a new fitness and well-being studio in Bedlington next month, marking another milestone in the regeneration of the town centre.

Located on Front Street and forming an integral part of Advance Northumberland’s ongoing town centre regeneration scheme, Reset Wellness will bring a unique wellness-focused offer to Northumberland, providing residents with access to a range of services designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing. The business will feature a purpose-built contrast therapy suite, specialist fitness and movement studios, and a healthy refuel bar, creating a modern, community-focused destination centred on recovery, fitness and holistic health.

Founded by Northumberland natives, owners Kyle Cameron and Macaulay Gillesphey, Reset Wellness aims to make contemporary wellbeing services more accessible to local communities while contributing to the continued growth and diversification of Bedlington’s town centre offer.

The arrival of Reset Wellness follows recent announcements that national brands B&M and Starbucks will also be joining the development, further strengthening Bedlington’s position as an emerging retail and leisure destination. The new business is expected to attract visitors from across Northumberland, increasing footfall and supporting the wider economic regeneration of the town.

Reset Wellness brings contemporary wellness practices to their home County. The pair also bring significant sporting experience to the venture: Cameron has built a successful professional career as a defender, including spells at Newcastle United, Torquay United, Notts County, Bromley and now Newport County, while Gillesphey, also a defender has enjoyed a strong career across clubs such as Newcastle United, Carlisle United, Plymouth, Charlton and currently Bradford. Their combined background in elite sport has shaped the club’s vision on bringing elite sports recovery, movement quality and long-term wellbeing to a club accessible to everyone.

Having identified a clear gap in the local market, the pair have developed a concept that brings contemporary wellness practices to their home county, supporting healthier lifestyles not just physically but mentally while contributing to the continued revitalisation of Bedlington Town Centre.
