Advance Northumberland has a number of different divisions - Ascent Homes, Investments, Homes, Projects, our Commercial team and a relatively new division of Sustainability and BNG. All of these are supported by our Corporate Services team.


Who are we?

Ascent Homes

Ascent Homes is an agile developer buying, developing, delivering, and selling across a wide range of projects both new build and refurbishment. Ascent have delivered over 600 new homes in Northumberland, generated over £97.4 million over the last five years, and 75% of spend has been invested in local companies


Projects

Our Project team are a critical component of the company’s unique mix of skills. The team manage the delivery of projects across the county.

The team are working on £34.5 million projects that are currently in construction, £76.5 million projects in the development stage, and have created over 700 construction jobs in development.

 Recent projects that have been delivered are  Morpeth and Berwick Leisure Centres, The Market Pavillion in Blyth and Bedlington town centre


Commercial

The commercial team have a diverse portfolio of quality business accommodation to rent, including industrial units, offices, business parks, and fully managed workspaces. Currently, we have a 96% occupancy rate, 100% statutory compliance, £148 million portfolio asset value, and over 600 businesses operating from our properties.


Investments

Our investments team are the regeneration vehicle to deliver physical regeneration through Northumberland. We contribute significantly to the profit of the property and development portfolios, working with the Advance Northumberland Project team to deliver on significant projects in Northumberland.

One of our major investment sites is the Northumberland Energy Park, which is home to JDR’s cable factory.

About The Role

Overview 

As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will be working alongside the Maintenance team within Advance Northumberland. Your line manager will be Carleigh our Maintenance Team Supervisor.

The purpose of this role is to provide a flexible and adaptable administrative support service to the Maintenance Compliance Team, booking in repairs and maintenance appointments with our tenants and supporting the team to achieve team goals. You will work between teams, co-ordinating works with the wider compliance and maintenance teams to ensure works are delivered as required in the portfolios. In addition you will maintain various admin functions, including PPE requirements, Vehicle MOT and servicing and processing of purchase orders and invoices.

Salary: Your starting salary will be £25,877.80.

Location: You will be working at the Advance Northumberland Wansbeck Workspace, located in Ashington, Northumberland, Rotary Parkway, NE63 8QZ. The nature of this role, means that is an office based role.
