Our Business Operations team supports the business with a wide variety of support from arranging meetings and travel to ordering stationery and office supplies. This is an additional role in the team, providing general administrative support including the processing of purchase orders and invoices. The role is to provide support to our colleagues to deliver for the business

Salary – £12.60 per hour / £24,242.40 pro rata
Annual leave - Start with 26 days, increasing to 31 days with service (fte). Of course, you’ll have public holidays too!

THE ROLE
This is a new additional role to support the team with administration tasks. The role is fast paced, you will need to have the ability to be an effective communicator both written and verbal. You should have good IT skills and be able to learn new systems.

Job title: Administration Assistant – Corporate Services
Reports to: Business Operations Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide cross functional finance administration; to include purchase order creation and the processing of company purchase invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide general administrative support for Business Operations (Procurement, ICT, Governance and Operations), Marketing, and Health and Safety.
Responsible for all purchase order and invoice administration for Business Operations (Procurement, ICT, Governance and Operations), Marketing and Health and Safety.
Responsible for stationery and corporate equipment ordering, including PPE, and maintaining records as required.
Filing, mail handling, archiving and all general administration to support the running of the Head Office and the wider Corporate Services department.
To provide a meet and greet welcome for corporate visitors: liaison with Workspace Reception team, meeting visitors at the Advance Northumberland waiting area, notifying colleagues of visitor arrival and arranging hospitality.
To support the preparation of Board and Committee performance reports as directed.
To support inbound mail and distribution for all departments based at Head Office.

Personal Specification
Essential Criteria
You must have:
· Communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, whilst managing workload and balancing changing priorities and deadlines.
· Computer literacy, and able to use Office 365 (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel) products, internet, intranet and databases.
· Experience of visitor and diary management.
· Experience of providing administrative support
